I think it's less that it will be used and more how easily it could be used. Sure, it's been possible to add/remove people from video for a while, but now it's becoming so easy and automated that every video will become a possible fake AND the average person will think it, not just the tech-savvy. Not sure that's 100% bad, I haven't really thought it through too much yet.
